Each bride is unique and is also entitled to make her own mark on her bridal gown. While Linea Raffaelli offers some brilliant styles, it also allows for customisation so a girl can create her own, individual look from the many features available to create a unique silhouette or she can simply have an existing model created in a different colour or material. For 2012, lace and tulle are a big story but have been given a brilliant new twist – used in neck-accessories or in a layered skirt which gives it a feather light effect, or handcut into flowers which are stitched on to a bodice. The fast-growing trend of short-to-long gowns is well represented in the new collection; our favourite is a short lace dress which can be worn with a long voluminous overskirt – beautful in traditional ivory, brilliant in colour – the palette includes soft hues of pink, cappuccino and a bold cherry red as well as the classics black and silver.
