As the only wedding shoe designer at Harrods, Harriet Wilde introduces the second collection for Spring/Summer 2012, at its prestigious shoe boudoir. Inspired by the floral theme, Harriet Wilde has fallen in love with delicate spring cherry blossom, and pretty summer roses to create soft and romantic details. The shoe shapes are classic, high-heel, peep-toe platforms, Betty Draper-style Fifties pointy- toe courts shoes, classic round-toe courts with and without platforms, all made in finest quality in ivory silk satin.

This season’s exclusives include Sakura, a stunning style with ornate silver leaves and delicate pink cherry blossom cascading down the heel; they have a timeless and very decadent feel with the exquisite enamel embellishment. Also, only for the bridal clients of Harrods, Harriet Wilde offers beautiful hand-painted flowers on any of the shoes; the service lets a bride choose her own shoe shape, like a blank canvas and select the colour of flowers so that severy pair is an individual masterpiece.

Also new are Bridgette and Polly, immaculately hand-embellished with graduated size Swarovski crystals on the heel and platform. Sparkly, stunning and incredibly luxurious, what more could a girl ask for on her wedding day? Due to popular demand the iconic style, Gardenia a high heel round toe court with rambling rose details on the back of the shoe is available for the second season.  Lastly, embracing the lace trend is the new style Chantilly, a pretty platform peep toe lace boot with a ribbon tie, both Gardenia and Chantilly are not exclusive to Harrods.

Harriet Wilde is a shoe collection in a class of its own, one that visitors to White Gallery (20-22 May) will be clamouring to see.
