Alice in Wonderland is Kisui's inspiration
This adventurous designer collection from Kerstin Karges was a bit hit at Modatex early this year. In 2012, the fairy-story collection will feature at White Gallery London, 20-22 May

Exhibiting in the UK first time next year, German brand Kisui will present stunning A-line floor length gowns in an array of lavish fabrics including silk organza, chiffon and tulle, inspired by the spirit of adventure of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. “We have decided to move on to the international market and, after consulting bridal design peers, there was only one answer, White Gallery London,” says Kerstin Karges. “We heard of the wonderful surroundings, top-level designers and huge press coverage and we are very excited about being part of this amazing event for the first time.” Kisui’s individual designs are characterised by contrasts of cut and texture, colour and embellishments, that create high-level visual impact. Within the collection there are whimsical pieces that tell of story-book romance as well as chic, minimalist silhouettes that express a new-age elegance. Hints of violet and claret form eye-catching highlights to the core bridal colours of white, cream and the latest addition, buttercup.
